Remark! is an independent, successful, vibrant production company established ten years ago by two Deaf entrepreneurs and deals with all aspects of television/video production, translation, multimedia/internet and British Sign Language training.

Remark! actively support the Deaf community in many ways including nurturing talent and sponsoring deaf individuals and clubs. As Remark! is led by two Deaf directors from Deaf families, it is natural for us to have a strong commitment to the Deaf community and the rich culture that is at the heart of the community. In the past decade, Remark! has employed over 120 Deaf people both in front of and behind the camera as well as eighteen full time members of core staff and many freelancers.

This is the third Awards that Remark! has organised, with the last Awards attracting over 1,500 people and broadcast on the BBC.
