Promising first quarter results for Remark! Interpreting.

After just 3 months in the job new interpreting manager, Jessica Wilde, reports back fantastic results for April, May and June. The first month April we had an astonishing 90 bookings, 120 for May and for June we are on course to fulfill 200 bookings. This is an incredible achievement for a newly formed interpreting agency.

Jessica expressed her elation at the success:

"We are deaf led, deaf run and we input back into the deaf community by donating a proportion of any profits towards Remark! Community a newly formed charity set up by Remark! founder Mark Nelson. We are one of the few, if any, agencies who focus on the development of all CSWs and Interpreters that we use. We provide regular in house training and 1 to 1 supervision sessions for our regular staff members. We disagree with the current model of booking strangers over the phone then processing thier invoices without offering them the chance to become an integral part of our team."

Jessica added "content, motivated, well trained interpreters will provide a higher level of service and this in turn will lead to a loyal client base so we are happy to go the extra lengths as we will be rewarded with customer satisfaction which we see as vitally important. We are here to raise the standards for the benefit of the BSL community."

So far we have had many interesting and varied clients such as BBC, Dering Employment Services, Graeae Theatre, Auditing Commission, colleges, Deaf-SELF, and a range of private companies.

Our prices are very competitive as we are not profit motivated and this is attractive to our clients. We also charge our normal rates for last minute bookings (unlike the premium charges done by most other agencies)
